Managing Language Classroom involves everything that happens in classrooms such as, teachers and students. As a student, I have experienced many things in class. I slept while in the class, I fought with my friends, and so on. The teacher becomes an important role in class.

Managing a language classroom can be successful if the teacher and student can work together. Many things can affect the classroom. For example, the atmosphere. In class, the atmosphere is very crucial. The atmosphere is including mood or feeling. Both teachers and students must have a good mood. Sometimes I missed the train, or it’s hard to get transportation online, which makes me furious in the morning. Even so, I had to get rid of my annoyance before entering class, because it can make my concentration lost, and interrupt my study. I also must be a professional as a student. The personal problem may not interfere in my studies. On the other hand, the teacher. The class atmosphere is sometimes different when the teacher is in a bad mood, for example, having problems at home, or with an institution. If the teacher has a personal problem, the teacher must remain professional when she or he is in the class. So, students are not afraid to ask questions, and the class does not become quiet because they feel scared that the teacher will release their frustration to their students. Thus, the learning process will run well.

I also feel that teachers often ask students to be active in class without knowing the characteristics or learning background of the students. This is also a particular criticism for education in UKRIDA, where lecturers tend to pay attention to students who are known as a smart one and ignore students who tend to be quiet in class. Therefore, the teacher is asked to be professional in relation to their students in a class. If the teacher has a special relationship with the student, the teacher must still treat their student the same as the other students. The teacher is also asked to recognize the characteristics of each student, to understand the learning patterns that are accurate for the class.

The teacher sometimes sees a problem from one student as learning for others. Thus, teachers prefer to scold that student in class rather than talking in private. It is better if one of the students has a problem, the teacher can control the class so that it remains conducive. When I was in high school, my best friend had a problem with someone else. Then, our teacher acted immediately, and did not immediately scold her in class, but invited her to go somewhere to talk in private. After that, our teacher also gave her solutions, suggestions, and embraced her. In my opinion, what our teacher does is very good, and should be done by every teacher, because it can solve problems without involving other students.

In managing language classes, the teacher’s role is very important in shaping the characteristics of students. Also, the teacher can control their class conducive and the class can become an effective place for students to learn and shapes the environment to develop their social skills.
