People tend to not pay attention to social class and inequality but to pay attention to what is more important to them. To include this research I will also include areas of social inequality of accessing voting rights, freedoms of speech and assembly, the extent of property rights and access education, health care, quality housing, traveling, transportation, and other social goods and services. Apart from that, it can also be seen in the quality of family and neighborhood life, occupation and jobs satisfaction, and access to credit.

I have interviewed 13 people on social media, this people that I have interviewed are from the age of thirty and have a steady job as mentioned. Twenty percent of the people answered that “YES” the government is labeling people according to their education level and eighty percent of the others is denying this matter and saying that some jobs here in Am Samoa are the relatives that are hired by the people supervising.

Increasing the demand for and returns to higher-skilled work:

A higher skilled person may have a chance to be promoted in a Job because of what that person is capable of doing and experience. A lot of jobs here in American Samoa have people working without degrees or level of education and they were only working due to what they know or maybe experience. The demand for a more elevated skilled person will eventually lower the expected earning of people with average skills.
